Do I need the upgrade?
This upgrade will fix the following errors experienced with certain vehicles :
* Chip fails calibration - This is indicated by a steady red light immediately after calibration, caused by a communication timeout value that is incompatible with some vehicles.
You only need to upgrade if you see a steady red light after calibration.
Will this upgrade make my Volo Chip perform better?
No, the upgrade will give the same performance results as before. An upgrade is only necessary if you are experiencing any of the above listed problems.
Is this a whole new chip?
This is a new processor with updated software that installs inside the Volo Performance Chip. Click on the Installation link to view the upgrade instructions.
